Com a busca por novas fontes de energia renov\u00e1vel provenientes da agricultura, a canola tem se destacado por apresentar \u00f3leo monoinsaturado superior ao da soja, sendo a cultura atualmente mais explorada para essa finalidade. Como as pesquisas com a cultura da canola ainda s\u00e3o incipientes no Brasil, inclusive em Minas Gerais, e considerando as incertezas sobre o volume acumulado de precipita\u00e7\u00e3o, bem como da sua distribui\u00e7\u00e3o, ambos impactados pelas mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas que ocorrem em \u00e2mbito global, \u00e9 de extrema necessidade que estudos com esta cultura sejam direcionados para a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da produtividade da canola sobre n\u00edveis restritivos de \u00e1gua e em diferentes \u00e9pocas de semeadura, a fim de identificar seu desempenho produtivo e avaliar
